Bio

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, Tangail. Previously, I worked as a Chairperson of the department. I started my professional life as a Research Officer at the Institute of Microfinance (InM).  After that, I worked as a Project Assistant at the Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA).  I am also a lifetime Bangladesh Economic Association (BEA) member.

I earned my MSS degree from the Department of Economics at the Shahjalal University of Science & Technology, Sylhet, in 2011, where I also got a BSS in Economics in 2009. I am Doing My PhD at the Department of Economics of the Pondicherry University in India on Natural Disaster and Migration.
