About Me
I’m Md. Ariful Islam, a devoted educator and researcher in Economics, currently working as a Lecturer at Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, Santosh, Tangail. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Economics from Jahangirnagar University, where I cultivated a deep interest in economic theory, policy, and empirical analysis.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in both academic and corporate settings — including teaching at respected institutions and serving as an Assistant Manager at a reputed organization. These experiences have enriched my ability to connect theory with real-world applications. I especially enjoy mentoring students in research and helping them build strong analytical thinking skills.
Beyond academics, I am politically conscious and deeply interested in contemporary global politics, as well as the history, heritage, and culture of different nations. I believe that understanding these dynamics enhances our perspective on economics and development. I am also passionate about lifelong learning and committed to values like honesty, punctuality, and curiosity.
In my personal time, I enjoy traveling, reading articles, and exploring new ideas that can bring positive change. I’m always open to meaningful collaboration and dialogue across disciplines.
